ALL WORK, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT FOR TRAFFIC SIGNING AND STRIPING SHALL CONFORM TO THESE PLANS, CALTRANS STANDARD PLANS DATED 2010, CALTRANS STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS DATED 2010, THE CALIFORNIA MANUAL ON UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES, DATED 2014. 2. ALL STRIPING AND PAVEMENT MARKINGS SHALL BE ALKYD THERMOPLASTIC. 3 TRAFFIC SIGN SIZE SHALL BE FOR CONVENTIONAL ROADWAYS UNLESS OTHERWISE SHOWN ON THE PLANS. 4 ALL SIGNS SHALL BE MOUNTED ON A GALVANIZED STEEL POST, UNLESS OTHERWISE SHOWN, PER CITY STANDARD DETAIL NO. 4003. 5 IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO MAINTAIN BARRICADES, DELINEATORS OR OTHER TRAFFIC CONTROL AT ALL TIMES. 6 CONTROL POINTS OR "CAT—TRACKING" TO BE APPROVED BY THE CITY ENGINEER TWO WORKING DAYS PRIOR TO PAVEMENT STRIPING APPLICATION. 7 CROSSWALKS SHALL HAVE 10' BETWEEN CENTERLINES OF 12" STRIPES PER CITY STANDARD DETAIL 1003. 8 ALL CONFLICTING STRIPING, MARKINGS TO BE REMOVED BY SANDBLASTING 9 SUBSTITUTE TYPE "C" RAISED PAVEMENT MARKERS FOR TYPE "G" MARKERS ON DETAIL 38 ON HIGHWAYS WITH RAISED MEDIANS. 10. BLUE DOT MARKERS (BLUE R.R.P.M.) ARE TO BE INSTALLED AT ALL FIRE HYDRANT LOCATIONS PER CITY STANDARD PLAN.
