All pipe lines or substructures of any kind shown or not shown on this plan within the limits of this development or in adjacent areas where improvementwork is to be done shall be removed or relocated as re- quired at no expense to the San Bernardino County Trms. Department.)+ shall LXes "e owier'r, responsibil4y -to r7olify all agencies concerned. 3. A permit will be required from the San Bernardino County Trans. Depart- ment prior to any encroachment or construction within the TraK. Depart- ment Easements or Right of day. 4. Adequate stakes shall be set by the Engineer to enable the contractor to construct the work to the plan grades. 5. Street markers per San BernardinoCounty Standard No. 303 and 303A shall be constructed at each intersection. 6. 4hen asphalt concrete is placed on native soil which consists of a rocky material, the subgrade shall be prepared by removing all rocks that protrude above the subgrade and all voids or depressions shall befilled with a f ine graded material of a quality better thanthe native material. 7. All sewer, gas, and water mains and laterals shall be constructed to each individual lot prior to paving. 8. Compaction tests of embankment construction, trench backfill, compact- ing original ground, and all subgrades shall be performed at not cost to San Bernardino County. A written report with these compaction tests shall be submitted to the Contracts Administration Division of the County Transportation Department for approval, prior to placement of base materials and/or surfacing. 9. At the completion of paving, a materials report shall be submitted to the Contracts Engineer of the San Bcsrnardino County Transportation Department listing Ill tE'StS Of determinations completed to verifyt (A) R. valve, sieve analysis and sand equivalent ofaggregate base. ( B) Stabil ity, oil contEmt, and sieve analysisof asphalt surfacing. 10. If asphalt concrete i,,to be placed directlyon subgrade, a soil steri- lant registered by theE. ' .A. for use underA.C. and P.C.C. shall be uniformly appliec' a� the :tianufacturer's recommended rate for the full pavement width nrior to paving.
