MAINTENANCE GUIDELINE5:
LANDSCAPE SHALL BE MAINTAINED IN A NEAT, GLEAN, WEED FREE AND HEALTHY
CONDITION. THI5 SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
I.
CULTIVATION OF PLANTED BEDS AT INTERVALS NOT TO EXCEED TEN (10) DAYS.
2.
REGULAR MOWING TO MAINTAIN A LAWN HEIGHT NOT TO EXCEED TWO (2) INCHES
(WILL VARY WITH 5PEGIE5).
3.
REGULAR PRUNING OF PLANTS A5 NECESSARY TO CONTROL AND DIRECT GROWTH.
4.
50HEDULED MAINTENANCE OF IRRIGATION CONTROLLER TO A55URE PROPER
APPLICATION RATE OF WATER NECESSARY FOR PROPER PLANT GROWTH. DRIP
IRRIGATION MAY REQUIRE SPECIALIZED LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CARE.
5.
IMMEDIATE REPLACEMENT OF PLANT MATERIAL AS NEEDED DUE TO DEATH, DISEASE
OR LACK OF GROWTH.
6.
FERTILIZATION ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE AS RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER
AND
TO PROVIDE PROPER PLANT GROWTH.
1.
IMMEDIATE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF IRRIGATION MATERIALS AS NEEDED TO
MAINTAIN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
5.
STAKES, GUY5 AND TIES ON TREES SHALL BE CHECKED REGULARLY FOR CORRECT
FUNCTION. TIES ARE TO BE ADJUSTED TO AVOID ABRA51ON5 OR GIRDLING OF
TRUNKS OR BRANCHES.

UPON COMPLETION OF THE THREE (3) MONTHS OR ONE (1) YEAR MAINTENANCE
PERIOD, AN INSPECTION SHALL BE MADE BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT ENGINEERING DIVISION LANDSCAPE INSPECTION STAFF. THE
LANDSCAPE SHALL BE MAINTAINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LANDSCAPE
MAINTENANCE STANDARDS. MAINTENANCE BONDING SHALL BE RELEASED AT THE END
OF THE APPROPRIATE PERIOD IF THE LANDSCAPE 15 MAINTAINED IN ACCORDING
TO PLANS AND SPECIFICATION.
10.
THE PRINCIPAL BOND HOLDER 15 RESPONSIBLE TO CONTACT THE CITY AND
SCHEDULE THE MAINTENANCE INSPECTION.
