Such conditions shall be brought to the attention of the owner's representative before work is installed; otherwise the contractor must assume full responsibility for any required revisions. This design is diagrammatic, equipment shown in paved areas is for clarity only, and is to be installed within planting areas whenever possible. Unless otherwise noted, 120 -volt electrical power for controllers is to be provided by others. The irrigation contractor will make final electrical connections to the automatic controllers from the provided outlet. All wires from the controller to the automatic valves to be copper, direct buricl, minimum #14 gauge. Install in the some trench as the main line where possible. Minimum coverage over wire to be 18". Common wire to be white in color. Control wires to be a different color for each controller used. Bundle and tape wires at a minimum of 20 feet on center. Final locations for backflow preventers and controllers to be determined by owners representative in the field before installation. Install all equipment per details and notes. Provide a minimum coverage of 18" for pressure lines and 12" for non -pressure laterals. Provide schedule 40 sleeve and 24" cover for all lines under paving. Pipe shall not have any joints within sleeve. Irrigation contractor shall flush all lines and adjust all heads for maximum performance while preventing overspray beyond the planting areas. This shall include selecting the best arc to fit actual site conditions and tc, avoid deflection by obstacles. All heads adjacent to parking lots or along roads or walks shall be installed in high pop-up bodies. Contractor shall install swing check valves or spring loaded check valves as required to eliminate drainage from low sprinkler heads. This will be in addition to any check valves shown on plans. All PVC fittings shall be "long socket" type as manufactured by Dura CO. Upon completion, the Irrigation Contractor shall supply the Owner with a complete set of reproducible "as -built" drawings. Drawings will show location of all valves, crossings, quick couplers, and main line components dimensioned from two permanent objects. Each controller to have its own chart. The chart 'will clearly show each valve and the area covered in a different color and be laminated on both sides with 10 -mm clear plastic. The irrigation system shall be fully guaranteed for one full year from date of acceptance by the Owner. Any defective material or poor workmanship shall be replaced or repaired by Contractor at no additional cost to the Owner.
