1. THE OWNER IS DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ASPECTS OF CONSTRUCTION.
ALL FIELD MEETINGS SHALL BE INITIATED BY THE CONTRACTOR AND COORDINATED TO
THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT THROUGH THE OWNER. THE ROLE OF THE LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECT IS TO BE iN A POSITION TO SUPPORT AND PROVIDE THE OWNER WITH
INTERPRETIVE ADVICE ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT AND OBSERVATION
SCHEDULE AS NOTED.
2. THE OWNER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING PROPERTY LINES,
RIGHT-OF-WAYS, TRACT BOUNDARIES, `GRADES, EASEMENTS, UTILITY LOCATIONS
(ABOVE AND BELOW GRADE) AND ANY OTHER LEGAL OR PHYSICAL ELEMENTS AS
REQUIRED FOR THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE WORK. CONTRACTOR WILL
NOT BE PERMITTED TO PROCEED WITH ANY WORK WITHOUT DETERMINATION OF THE
ABOVE INFORMATION.
3. THE OWNER WILL PROVIDE ROUGH RADE TO WITHIN 1/10TH OF ONE FOOT
FROM FiNISH GRADE.
4. THE OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSULTING WITH THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
FOR ALL DISCOVERED DISCREPANCIES IN SITE CONDITIONS, DRAWINGS OR
SPECIFICATIONS PRiOR TO CONTINUING WORK IN THE DISCREPANCY AREA. ANY
UNREPORTED DISCREPANCY AND CONTINUED WORK WITHOUT WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION
FROM THE OWNER AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT WILL BE AT THE CONTRACTOR'S RISK
AND EXPENSE.
5. ALL QUESTIONS RELATING TO INTERPRETATION OF THE DRAWINGS AND
SPECIFICATIONS, QUALITY OF WORK, AND FULFILLMENT OF THE CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS WILL BE DECIDED BY THE OWNER AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT.
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT'S REQUIRED FIELD
OBSERVATION WORK=
1. THESE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS WERE PREPARED
FOR THE OWNER WiTH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THE OWNER WILL USE LAND ARC
WEST TO PROVIDE `FULL' CONTRACT SERVICES INCLUDING CONSTRUCTION
OBSERVATION. FAILURE TO USE LAND ARC WEST TO COMPLETE THE CONSTRUCTION
OBSERVATION SERVICES SET FORTH HEREIN WILL SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE THE RISK
OF LOSS RESULTING, FROM MISINTERPRETATION OF THE DESIGN INTENT,
UNAUTHORIZED MODIFICATIONS, AND FAILURE TO DETECT ERRORS AND OMISSIONS IN
THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS BEFORE THEY BECOME COSTLY MISTAKES. IN THE
EVENT THAT LAND ARC WEST DOES NOT COMPLETE THE FIELD OBSERVATION
SERVICES AS DESCRIBED HEREIN, THE OWNER, OR SUBSEQUENT OWNER (INDIVIDUALS
OR CORPORATIONS WHO HAVE PURCHASED THESE PLANS WiTH THE PROJECT),
AGREES TO HOLD HARMLESS, INDEMNIFY, AND DEFEND LAND ARC WEST FROM AND
AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS.
CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITIES
1. THE CONTRACTOR WILL FURNISH ALL MATERIALS, LABOR, TRANSPORTATION,
SERVICES, AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO INSTALL LANDSCAPE PLANTING AS SHOWN
ON THE DRAWINGS AND AS SPECIFIED HEREIN.
2. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THIS
WORK ARE HEREBY INCORPORATED INTO AND MADE PART OF THESE PLANS. WHEN
THESE PLANS CALL FOR CERTAIN MATERIALS, WORKMANSHIP OR A LEVEL OF
CONSTRUCTION THAT EXCEEDS THE LEVEL OF FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL
REQUIREMENTS, THE PROVISIONS OF THESE PLANS WILL TAKE PRECEDENCE.
3. ALL WORK WiLL BE PERFORMED BY A C-27 CALIFORNIA LICENSED CONTRACTOR.
4. THE CONTRACTOR WILL PAY FOR ANY AND ALL PERMITS, FEES, BONDS AND
OBSERVATIONS NECESSARY TO PERFORM AND COMPLETE HIS PORTION OF THE WORK.
5. THE CONTRACTOR WILL CARRY ALL WORKMAN'S COMPENSATION, PUBLIC LIABILITY
AND PROPERTY DAMAGE INSURANCE AS REQUIRED BY ALL APPLICABLE CODES,
REGULATIONS AND BY THE OWNER.
6. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO CONSULT WITH SITE
SUPERINTENDENT, APPROPRIATE AGENCIES, AND DRAWINGS FOR VERIFYING LOCATIONS
OF UNDERGROUND UTILITIES, PIPES AND STRUCTURES. TAKE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY
FOR COSTS INCURRED DUE TO DAMAGE OF SAID UTILITIES IF PROPER VERIFICATION
BY CONTRACTOR WAS NOT PERFORMED.
7. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE TO VERIFY WITH THE OWNER'S SITE
SUPERINTENDENT AND LOCAL GOVERNING AGENCIES THE LOCATION AND DEPTH OF
ALL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES. IF ANY UNDERGROUND CONSTRUCTION OR UTILITY LINES
ARE ENCOUNTERED IN THE EXCAVATION OF PLANTING HOLES, ALTERNATIVE PLANTING
LOCATIONS MAY ' BE SELECTED BY THE OWNER.
8. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COORDINATING OTHER CONTRACTORS
WORK RELATED TO PROPER EXECUTION OF CONTRACTOR'S WORK.
9. THE CONTRACTOR WILL NOT WILLFULLY PROCEED WITH PLANTING OPERATIONS
WHEN IT IS OBVIOUS THAT UNKNOWN OBSTRUCTIONS AND GRADE DIFFERENCES EXIST
THAT MAY NOT HAVE BEEN KNOWN DURING DESIGN PROCESS. BRING SUCH
CONDITIONS IMMEDIATELY TO ATTENTION OF OWNER'S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE
FOR RESOLUTION. ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR COSTS INCURRED AND
REQUIRED MODIFICATIONS DUE TO LACK OF PROVIDING SUCH NOTIFICATION.
10. THE CONTRACTOR WILL OBTAIN A LETTER OF FINAL GRADE CERTIFICATION FROM
THE OWNER PRIOR TO BEGINNING PLANTING OPERATIONS CERTIFYING THAT ROUGH
GRADES ARE WITHIN 1/10TH OF AN INCH FROM SPECIFIED FINISH GRADES. ENSURE
THAT FINISH GRADE ELEVATIONS OF PLANTING AREAS ARE SET AT PROPER
ELEVATIONS RELATIVE TO PAVING FINISH SURFACE ELEVATIONS, UTILITY COVERS, AND
CURBS.
11. PLANT MATERIAL, I.E. TREES, SHRUBS, VINES AND GROUND COVERS, MUST BE
APPROVED BY OWNER'S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
PLANT MATERIAL INSTALLED WITHOUT OWNER'S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE'S
APPROVAL MAY BE SUBJECT TO REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT WITH RELATED COSTS
INCURRED BY CONTRACTOR.
12. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO FURNISH PLANT MATERIAL FREE OF
PESTS, POOR CONDITION, OR DISEASE, INCLUDING PRE -SELECTED OR PRE -TAGGED
PLANT MATERIAL PROVIDED BY OWNER.
13. THE CONTRACTOR WILL MARK THE LOCATIONS FOR ALL SHRUBS AND TREES
EITHER BY FLAGGED GRADE STAKES INDICATING PLANT TYPE AND SIZE OR THE
ACTUAL PLANTS THEMSELVES FOR THE OWNER'S REVIEW AND APPROVAL PRIOR TO
PLANTING.
14. AFTER FINISH GRADES HAVE BEEN SET FOR PLANTING AREAS, THE CONTRACTOR
WILL TAKE HORTICULTURAL SOIL SAMPLES AT (3) LOCATIONS. SOIL SAMPLES ARE TO
BE TESTED FOR BY A QUALIFIED SOIL TESTING LABORATORY FOR SOIL FERTILITY,
BACKFILL RECOMMENDATIONS, AND SOIL PREPARATION RECOMMENDATIONS.
15. iF CONFLICTS ARISE BETWEEN ACTUAL SIZE OF PLANTING AREAS ON-SITE AND
THOSE INDICATED ON DRAWINGS, THE CONTRACTOR WILL CONTACT OWNER'S
AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE FOR RESOLUTION. FAILURE TO MAKE SUCH CONFLICTS
KNOWN TO OWNER'S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE IN A TIMELY FASHION MAY
RESULT IN CONTRACTOR'S LIABILITY TO RELOCATE PLANT MATERIALS OR AT WORST
CASE, BECOME UNABLE TO CHARGE OWNER FOR PLANT MATERIAL ALREADY PLANTED.
16. THE CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE A 3 -INCH DEEP LAYER OF WOOD MULCH (AS
APPROVED BY LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT) IN ALL SHRUB AND GROUND COVER AREAS
(EXCLUDING TURF), UNLESS INDICATED OTHERWISE ON PLANS. `
17. THE CONTRACTOR WILL NOT PLANT TREES ANY CLOSER,; -THAN 4 -FOOT TO ANY
FIXED EDGE, I.E. SIDEWALKS AND WALLS, UNLESS INDICATED OTHERWISE ON
DRAWINGS. ANY DISCREPANCIES WILL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT FOR RESOLUTION.
18. THE CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE ROOT CONTROL DEVICES WHERE REQUIRED -
REFER TO DRAWINGS FOR WHICH TREES REQUIRE THEM.
19. THE CONTRACTOR WiLL NOT PLANT TREES WiTHIN 10 -FEET OF GAS, WATER OR
SEWER LINES. CONTACT OWNER IF MEETING THiS CRITERIA DIFFERS FROM
LOCATIONS INDICATED ON DRAWINGS.
20. THE CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE THE PROPER SETBACK BETWEEN STREETLIGHTS
AND TREES - CONTACT CITY INSPECTOR FOR REQUIRED SETBACKS.
21. THE CONTRACTOR WILL REPLACE OR REPAIR EXISTING MATERIALS THAT ARE
DAMAGED BY CONTRACTOR DURING PLANTING OPERATIONS.
22. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ENCROACHMENT ONTO
ADJACENT PROPERTY, RIGHT-OF-WAYS, EASEMENTS, SETBACKS OR ANY OTHER LEGAL
PROPERTY RESTRICTION EITHER MARKED OR UNMARKED.
23. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGE TO ALL UTILITIES,
CONSTRUCTION, IRRIGATION AND PLANTING ELEMENTS, EXISTING OR NEW, MARKED OR
UNMARKED, AND WILL REPAIR OR REPLACE ANY DAMAGED IMPROVEMENTS IN A
MANNER ACCEPTABLE TO THE OWNER.
24. THE CONTRACTOR WILL NOTIFY THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT IN SUFFICIENT TIME
TO PERFORM A SPECIFIED SITE OBSERVATION TASK. INSUFFICIENT NOTIFICATION OF
TIME GIVEN TO THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT MAY REQUIRE THE SITE VISIT TO BE
CANCELED, OR POSSIBLY, MAKE CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBLE TO COMPENSATE THE
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT FOR OVERTIME. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
NOTIFYING THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT FORTY-EIGHT (48) HOURS iN ADVANCE TO
SCHEDULE THE FOLLOWING SITE VISITS:
A. A CONTRACTOR PRE -CONSTRUCTION "KICK-OFF" MEETING
B. WEED ABATEMENT EFFECTIVENESS
C. FINE GRADING AND ''PLANT MATERIAL LAYOUT APPROVAL. THE
OWNER AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT WILL APPROVE PLANT MATERIAL
TYPE AND QUALITY; LOCATIONS OF ALL PLANT MATERIAL; BACKFILL
MIX AND FiNE GRADE PRIOR TO ANY PLANTING WORK.
D. PROGRESS VISITS -PERIODIC INSPECTIONS WILL BE PERFORMED
BY THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT DURING CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS
TO INSURE CONFORMANCE TO PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
E. FINAL WALK-THROUGH/PROJECT SUBSTANTIAL CONFORMANCE -
THE OWNER AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT WiLL VERIFY ALL WORK
UNDER THE CONTRACT FOR COMPLETENESS PRIOR TO STARTING THE
MAINTENANCE PERIOD.
G. MAINTENANCE OBSERVATIONS -THE OWNER AND LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECT WiLL INSPECT THE PROJECT TO INSURE CONFORMANCE
WITH THE MAINTENANCE SPECIFICATIONS PRIOR TO RELEASING THE
PROJECT TO THE OWNER.
25. NO SiTE VISiT WILL BE SCHEDULED PRIOR TO COMPLETION OF ALL PREVIOUS
PUNCH LIST ITEMS, UNLESS COMPLIANCE HAS BEEN WAIVED BY THE OWNER AND
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT. FAILURE TO ACCOMPLISH THE TIMELY EXECUTION OF
PREVIOUS PUNCH LIST ITEMS AND PREPARING ADEQUATELY FOR THE NEXT SITE VISIT
WILL MAKE THE CONTRACTOR POTENTIALLY LIABLE FOR REIMBURSING THE LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECT FOR HIS LABOR AND REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES. NO FURTHER SITE VISITS
WILL BE MADE UNTiL OUTSTANDING CHARGES HAVE BEEN PAID TO THE LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECT BY THE CONTRACTOR.
26. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE AND LiABLE FOR ANY LOSS TO
EQUIPMENT, PARTS AND MATERIALS ON THIS PROJECT UNTIL COMPLETION AND
ACCEPTANCE OF THE JOB IN WRITING FROM THE OWNER.
27. THE CONTRACTOR WILL GUARANTEE ALL WORK AS TO MATERIAL AND
WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FOLLOWING THE DATE OF FINAL
ACCEPTANCE OF PROJECT. THE CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE A WRITTEN GUARANTEE
ON HIS LETTERHEAD AT THE FiNAL INSPECTION.
28. THE CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE A WRITTEN CERTIFICATION THAT THE PLANTING
WORK IS INSTALLED IN FULL COMPLIANCE WiTH THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. ANY
APPROVED SUBSTITUTIONS OR DEVIATIONS FROM THE PLANS OR SPECIFICATIONS WILL
BE NOTED. THIS CERTIFICATION WILL BE ON THE CONTRACTOR'S LETTERHEAD WITH
HIS SIGNATURE AND CALIFORNIA C-27 CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE NUMBER.
29. THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT TO THE OWNER AND LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECT A COMPLETE LIST OF REQUIRED CONTAINER AND GROUND COVER
MATERIAL. THE LIST WILL INCLUDE EACH TREE, SHRUB AND GROUND COVER; THEIR
BOTANICAL AND COMMON NAME; EACH REQUIRED QUANTITY AND SiZE; THEIR
NURSERY SOURCE LOCATIONS AND NURSERY SALES PERSON TO CONTACT; THEIR
SPECIFICATIONS AS TO HEIGHT, SPREAD AND TRUNK CALIPER AT ONE FOOT (1')
ABOVE GRADE (FOR TREES). A POLAROID OR 35 MM REPRESENTATIVE PHOTO OF
EACH REQUIRED TREE WILL ACCOMPANY THE SUBMITTAL. THiS LiST WILL BE
REQUIRED WITHIN FIFTEEN (15) FROM THE DATE THAT THE CONTRACT WAS AWARDED.
LANDSCAPE CON'TRACTOR'S SCOPE OF WORK
1. PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH ANY WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT, THE
CONTRACTOR WiLL REMOVE ALL ROCKS, WEEDS, DEBRIS, AND OTHER EXTRANEOUS
MATERIAL FROM THE JOB SITE AND DISPOSE OF IT OFF-SITE IN A SUITABLE AND
LAWFUL MANNER.
2. UPON COMPLETION OF ALL IRRIGATION WORK, ALL PLANTING AREAS WILL BE
SPRAYED WiTH A SYSTEMIC HERBICIDE; CLEARED AND GRUBBED OF SURFACE WEED
GROWTH; AND WILL BE WEED FREE PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH ANY PLANTING
WORK.
3. THE CONTRACTOR WILL ESTABLISH FINISH GRADE A MINIMUM OF SiX INCHES
(6") BELOW THE FINISH FLOOR OF BUILDINGS. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE
RESPONSIBLE FOR SMOOTH EVEN FINISH GRADES AT BUILDINGS, WALKS, OTHER
PERMANENT OBJECTS AND LIMITS OF WORK. ALL CHANGES IN GRADE SHALL BE
BLENDED UNIFORM VERTICAL CURVES. ALL AREAS TO BE PLANTED IN TURF WiLL BE
SMOOTHED TO THE OWNER'S SATISFACTION. OBJECTS SUCH AS ROCKS, DEBRIS,
CLODS OR OTHER EXTRANEOUS MATERIAL WILL BE STOCKPILED AND REMOVED.
4. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DRAINAGE IN ALL PLANTING AREAS
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PLANS, DETAILS, AND SPECIFICATIONS AT A MINIMUM 21
GRADIENT.
5. THE CONTRACTOR WILL USE ON-SITE SOIL FOR ALL LANDSCAPE BERMS AND
MOUNDING. WHEN ON-SITE SOIL iS NOT AVAILABLE, IMPORT SOIL WiLL MEET THE
FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS:
SiLT PLUS CLAY CONTENT OF THE IMPORT SOIL SHALL NOT EXCEED
201 BY WEIGHT WITH A MINIMUM 951 PASSING THE 2.0 MM. SIEVE.
THE SODIUM ABSORPTION RATiO (SAR) SHALL NOT EXCEED 6.0 MM.
AND THE ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY (ECE) OF THE SATURATION
EXTRACT OF THIS SOIL WiLL NOT EXCEED 3.0 MMHOS./CM AT 250C.
THE BORON CONTENT OF THIS SOiL WILL BE NO GREATER THAN
1 PPM AS MEASURED ON THE SATURATION EXTRACT. iN ORDER
TO INSURE CONFORMANCE, SAMPLES OF THE IMPORT SOIL WILL
BE SUBMITTED TO THE SOIL LABORATORY FOR ANALYSIS PRIOR
TO IMPORT ON SITE.
6. ALL PLANT MATERIAL WILL BE OF A SIZE, CHARACTER AND QUALITY WHiCH
MEETS THE ACCEPTED INDUSTRY STANDARDS FOR THAT PLANT AND WILL BE FREE
FROM INSECTS, THEiR EGGS, DISEASE, WEEDS, OR OTHER DETRIMENTAL
CHARACTERISTICS.
7. ALL PLANTS WILL BE HANDLED AND STORED SO THEY ARE ADEQUATELY
PROTECTED FROM DRYING OUT, SUN, WINDBURN, VANDALISM OR ANY OTHER INJURY.
8. THE OWNER AND LANDSCAPE ARCHiTECT MAY REJECT ANY AND ALL PLANT
MATERIAL REGARDED AS UNSUITABLE AT ANY TIME. SUCH PLANTS SHALL BE
REMOVED FROM THE JOB SITE IMMEDIATELY AND BE REPLACED AT NO ADDITIONAL
COST TO THE OWNER.
9. ALL PLANT MATERIAL WILL BE AS SPECIFIED AND PLANTED AS DETAILED AND
NOTED.
10. ALL GROUND COVER AREAS SHOWN ON THE PLANS WILL BE PLANTED WITH
ROOTED CUTTINGS FROM FLATS CONTINUOUS UNDER TREES AND SHRUBS AND
SPACED AS NOTED ON PLANS AND STAGGERED AS SHOWN ON DETAIL.
11. ALL PLANTING AREAS TO RECEIVE GROUND COVER FROM FLATS AND/OR TURF
(EXCEPT GROUND COVER AREAS ON SLOPES 3:1 OR GREATER) WILL RECEIVE THE
FOLLOWING AMENDMENTS PER 1,000 SQ.FT. AND SHALL BE UNIFORMLY BLENDED
INTO THE UPPER SURFACE SOIL TO A DEPTH AS REQUIRED IN THE HORTICULTURAL
SOILS REPORT.

REPORT. CONTRACTOR SHALL REFER TO HORTICULTURAL SOILS REPORT FOR
CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES. SHOULD A HORTICULTURAL SOILS REPORT NOT
BE PROVIDED BY OWNER AT TIME OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR SHALL
ACQUIRE HIS OWN HORTICULTURAL SOILS REPORT FROM A REPUTABLE
SOILS LABORATORY SUCH AS THE FOLLOWING:

ESTABLISHMENT MAINTENANCE DOTES=
1. THE MAINTENANCE PERIOD WILL COMMENCE UPON THE OWNER'S WRITTEN
APPROVAL OF ALL PHASES OF PLANTING INSTALLATION AND WILL BE FOR THE
PERIOD OF TIME AS FOLLOWS:
30 CONTINUOUS CALENDAR DAYS
2. THE GENERAL CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF ALL AREAS WILL CONSIST OF
PROPER WATERING, PRUNING, FERTILIZATION, WEEDING, RODENT CONTROL, AND
CLEAN-UP.
3. MAINTENANCE WORK WILL INCLUDE FERTILIZATION WITH THE FOLLOWING
FERTILIZER AT THIRTY (30) DAY INTERVALS AFTER PLANTING. LBS/1000 SQ. FT.

5. THE CONTRACTOR WILL TAKE THE NECESSARY STEPS AS DISCUSSED WITH
OWNER TO ELIMINATE ANY RODENTS THAT ARE CONSIDERED PROBLEMATIC.
6. THE CONTRACTOR WILL KEEP THE PREMISES IN A NEAT AND CLEAN CONDITION.
ANY SURPLUS MATERIALS AND DEBRIS WiLL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE.
7. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING ADEQUATE
PROTECTION OF ALL PLANTING AREAS THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE
MAINTENANCE PERIOD. ANY DAMAGED AREAS WILL BE REPAIRED AT THE
CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE.
8. THE CONTRACTOR WILL EDGE AND MOW TURF TO A HEIGHT OF 2 INCHES
WHENEVER THE TURF REACHES A HEIGHT OF 3 INCHES.
9. THE CONTRACTOR WILL RE-HYDROSEED ALL HYDROSEED AREAS ERODED OR
NON -GERMINATING AT THE END OF EACH THIRTY (30) DAYS OF MAINTENANCE.
10. FINAL ACCEPTANCE WILL BE GIVEN AT THE END OF THE MAINTENANCE PERIOD
FOR ALL PLANTED AREAS ONCE HYDROSEED GERMINATION HAS OCCURRED AND
ESTABLISHMENT HAS BEEN OBTAINED.
