POINT OF CONNECTION NOTES:
WIRE NEW CONTROLLER TO EXISTING MASTER VALVE. (NOTE: ALL CONTROLLERS
WILL NEED A MASTER VALVE RELAY ALLOWING MULTIPLE -CONTROLLERS TO
OPERATE ONE (1) MASTER VALVE). MASTER VALVE PRESSURE REGULATOR IS TO
BE SET TO OUTPUT 125 PSI MAX PRESSURE. MAXIMUM COMBINED FLOW FOR
POC IS 325 GPM. STATIC LOW PRESSURE AT POC IS 80 PSI. REGULATED PUMP
OUTPUT PRESSURE IS 125 PSI.
CONTROLLER NOTE:
CONTROLLER 'D' TO BE 36 STATION MODEL. ELECTRICAL POWER WILL BE PROVIDED BY
THE OWNER TO NEW CONTROLLER. CONTRACTOR TO MAKE ALL FINAL CONNECTIONS
PER LOCAL CODES. MOUNT, WIRE, AND GROUND CONTROLLERS PER MANUFACTURER'S
DIRECTIONS. FINAL CONTROLLER LOCATION TO BE DETERMINED IN THE FIELD
BY THE OWNER.
EACH CONTROLLER IS TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
(1) RAINMASTER 32 PC 'PIGTAIL' FOR REMOTE CONTROLL OPERATION.
(1) TORO SENSOR INPUT BOARD (SIB) MODEL 995-63 FOR FLOW SENSOR AND RAIN
SHUT OFF DEVICE INPUT.
(1) TORO RADIO LINK KIT 89-7611 TO ALLOW COMMUNICATION WITH THE CENTRAL
COMMAND CENTER.
(1) MASTER VALVE RELAY ALLOWING MULTIPLE CONTROLLERS TO OPERATE ONE
MASTER VALVE.
(1) CALSENSE TP -110 SURGE PROTECTION DEVICE.
(1) GROUNDING ROD.
(1) PUMP START RELAY.
NEW CONTROLLER IS TO BE WIRED TO THE EXISTING CAMBELL SCIENTIFIC TE525
TIPPING BUCKET
FOR RAIN SHUT OFF SENSING. ALL RADIO EQUIPMENT IS TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH
VHF FREQUENCY.
REMOTE CONTROL VALVES ARE TO BE RUN SIMULTANEOUSLY TO ACHIEVE A
COMBINED FLOW OF
APPROXIMATELY 325 GPM IN ORDER TO MAKE AN 8 HOUR WATERING WINDOW
5 DAYS A WEEK.
