Architectural Plans prepared by:
* DILALLO LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE (DLA) has taken care to research applicable codes and requirements in preparing these
drawings and is not responsible for changes to such occurring after agency approval or during installation.
* As requested by the OWNER, DLA will visit the site at intervals appropriate to the stage of construction to review the progress and
quality of work and to determine in general if the work is being performed in a manner indicating that the work, when completed, will
be in substantial conformance with the construction documents. However, DLA will not make exhaustive or continuous on-site
inspections to check the quality of the work.
* DLA is not responsible for construction means, techniques, sequences or procedures, or for safety precautions and programs in
connection with the work, since these are solely the Contractor's responsibility DLA is not responsible for the Contractor's failure to carry
out the work in accordance with the construction documents, nor responsible for acts or omissions of the Contractor, subcontractors,
or their agents or employees, or of any other persons performing portions of the work.
* There is no warranty or guarantee either expressed or implied by DLA for the completion of the work or the quality of performance of
the construction Contractors.
* In the event OWNER consents to, allows, authorizes or approves of changes to any plans, specifications, or other construction
documents, and these alterations are not approved in writing by DLA, OWNER recognizes that such alteration and the results thereof
are not the responsibility of DLA. In addition, OWNER agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law to indemnify and hold DLA harmless
from any damage, liability or cost [including reasonable attorney's fees and costs of defense]
arising from such alterations.
* The existence and location of any underground utilities was obtained from referencing plans prepared by others at the time the
plans were drafted and do not constitute a representation as to the accuracy or completeness of the location or the existence of
such utilities. In Southern California, Contractor shall contact Underground Services Alert at 1-800-422-4133 prior to performing any
construction work.
* Contractor shall supervise and direct the work, using the Contractor's best skill and attention. Contractor shall be solely responsible
and have control over construction means, methods, techniques, sequences, and procedures for coordinating all portions of the
work.
* Contractor shall be responsible to the OWNER for acts and omissions of the Contractor's employees, subcontractors and their agents
and employees and other persons performing portions of the work under a contract with the Contractor.
* Contractor shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining, and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the
performance of the construction contract.
GRADING NOTES
* These plans represent grades prepared from the Project Architect and Project Civil Engineer's plans.
* Contractor shall verify existing grades, spot elevations, contours and drainage structures prior to commencing work.
If any discrepancies exist they should be brought to theimmediate attention of the OWNER'S Authorized Representative.
* Finish surfaces of hardscape shall be one inch (1") above finish grade adjacent to lawn areas and two inches (2") above
finish grade for shrub and ground cover areas.
* Contours, spot elevations and grading information shall be in accordance with grading plans prepared by the Project Civil Engineer.
* Finish grade for all planting areas to a smooth, uniform surface ready for planting.

1. IT IS LANDSCAPE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY
TO CONTACT THE ENGINEERING DIVISION'S LANDSCAPE
INSPECTOR, 48 HOURS PRIOR TO DESIRED INSPECTION OF
AN ITEM AT (909) 350-6633.
2. PRIOR TO RELEASE OF UTILITIES OR MAINTENANCE PERIOR
COMMENCEMENT THE FOLLOWING INSPECTIONS ARE REQUIRED.
PRE -CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION
INSPECTION OF IRRIGATION SYSTEM IN OPEN TRENCH CONDITION
(PRIOR TO BACKFILL). MAINLINE PRESSURE TEST AT 150 PSI FOR A
THREE (3) HOUR CONTINUOUS PERIOD.
IRRIGATION COVERAGE TESTS INCLUDING INITIAL AND FINAL TESTS.
FINISH GRADING PRIOR TO PLANTING.
PLANT MATERIALS PRIOR TO PLANTING AND SOIL PREPARATION.
PLANTING, INCLUDING STREET TREES. CONTACT THE PARKS PLANNING
AND LANDSCAPE DEVELOPMENT SECTIN, ENGINEERING DIVISION, FOR
SPECIES AND FINAL LOCATIONS.
COMPLIANCE WITH APPROVED PLANS
FINAL INSPECTION.
3. THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE AND LANDSCAPE CONTRACTOR
SHALL BE PRESENT AT EACH INSPECTION.
