All materails and equipment shall be furnished and installed by the contractor unless otherwise noted. Locate all substructuresprior to construction, Phone Underground Service Alert at (800) 422-4133, 2 working days prior to construction. 4. All wiring shall be marked (tagged) within the controller cabinet for phase identification. 5. All signal equipment shall be wired in accordance with the signal phase diagram. 6. Loop detectors shall be type "A" 6'x6' with 10' spacing between adjacent loops in the same lane except as noted. Center loops in the traveled portion of the lane and extend limit line loops 1 into crosswalk or past limit line except as noted. 7. All International Symbol pedestrian signal heads shall have the pedestrian. pushbutton signs for International Symbol signals. 8. All vehicle indications shall be 12" metal, glass lenses, and have visors and backplates. Backplates shall be one piece metallic and louvered. All new red indications shall be L.E.D.
