TO USE THE PROGRAMS EFFECTIVELY, THE USER MUST KNOW THE THEORETICAL ASSUMPTIONS USED IN THIS HYDROLOGY MODEL OF RAINFALL/RUNOFF EVENTS. THE UNIT HYDROGRAPH PROCEDURE USES MODELS FOR RAINFALL PATTERNS, SOIL -LOSS CHARACTERISTICS, WATERSHED STREAMFLOW PATTERNS, AND OTHER VARIABLES WHICH ALL HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE OVERALL HYDROLOGY METHOD. THIS PROGRAM DISCUSSION WILL NOT ELABORATE ON EACH VARIABLE MODEL, BUT REFERS THE PROGRAM USER TO THE SBC HYDROLOGY MANUAL TO WHICH THIS COMPUTER PROGRAM PACKAGE IS BASED UPON. THE COMPUTER REQUESTS THE USER TO ENTER INFORMATION ABOUT THE STUDY WATERSHED AND THE PARTICULAR STORM BEING USED AS THE CRITICAL STORM PATTERN.
