RCE S lw Nl ierra i` s CIVIL ENGINEERS + LAND SURVEYGRS • LAND PLANNERS DIVISION OF PROJECT 2000, INC. DRAINAGE REPORT `.TRACT NO. 13411 NORTH OF BASELINE ROAD BETWEEN MANGO AVE. & BLANCHARD AVE. CITY OF FONTANA SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY !Q--- ETH o R.C.E:• 338208 u EXP. 6/30/90 0° i o f'll,it, CALI©` (?lA) 662.SAOO 27007 FIFTH STREET • HIGHLAND, CALIFORNIA 92346 DESIGN CRITERIA The following criteria has been used to analyze the probable storm flows impacting the project site. 1. San Bernardino. County Hydrology Manual 2. Los Angeles County Water Surface Profile Programs 3. 10 year and 100 year storm frequencies calculated a. 10 year storm carried in streets to top of curb. b. 100 year storm carreid in right of way. C. 10 year and 100 year storm will be intercepted in a catch basin and conveyed into an 18" R.C.P. pipe thatwill connect into an existing 18" R.C.P. on Tract 13230 discharging into an existing detention basin on the same Tract (see exhibit A for supporting information from Tract 13230). ANALYSIS OF ON-SITE DRAINAGE 1. The bulk of on-site storm flows concentrate at the corner of Cerritos Street and Mango Avenue. 2. A minor portion of the storm flows (2.4 cfs maximum) will be conveyed off-site via Blanchard Avenue (see Drainage Sub Area Map). 3. A catch basin will be constructed at the Northeast corner of Cerrritos Street and Mango Avenue to intercept all the storm water. No on-site storm flows shall be conveyed onto Mango Avenue from this project. The storm flow from the South 10.00 feet of Cerritos Street will be handeled through a drainage easement. (see enclosed drainage acceptance letter). ANALYSIS OF OFF-SITE DRAINAGE 1. Off-site storm flows enter the project site at the Northwest corner adjacent to Mango Avenue from an existing detention basin in Tract 12762 via an 18" R.C.P. pipe. 2. The on-site storm floods generated on Tract 13411 will be intercepted. by a ,catch basin at the Northeast corner of Mango Avenue and Cerritos Street and from there, conveyed to an 18" R.C.P. pipe where it combines with storm flows from Tract 12762. 3. Combined storm flows will be conveyed off-site via the proposed 18" R.C.P. southerly, a distance of 293 feet connecting to an existing 18" R.C.P. on Tract 13230, where all drainage will be outletted into a detention basin located on Tract 13230 (see storm drain plan for detail) 4. All 18" R.C.P. will be located in a drainage easement south of Tract 13411 (see enclosed easement documents).
