IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING REMOVAL OF EXISTING PAVEMENT OR DIKE OR CURB AND/OR GUTTER, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL DILIGENTLY PURSUE THIS PORTION OF WORK UNTIL COMPLETION. 15, AN ENCROACHMENT PERMIT MUST FIRST BE OBTAINED FROM THE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, FIELD ENGINEERING DIVISION, TRANSPORTATION PERMIT SECTION, PRIOR TO MAKING APPLICATION AND ISSUANCE OF A GRADING PERMIT OR BUILDING PERMIT, 16. SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS APPROVAL DOES NOT INCLUDE WATER OR SEWER SYSTEM OR ESTIMATE OF' QUANTITIES. '17.
