2. PRIOR TO THE START OF GRADING, ALL EXISTING VEGETATION

12. ALL SLOPES EXCEEDING FIVE FEET IN VEP77CAL HEIGHT ARE TO

APPROVED WATERING,
1.1 FILL MATERIAL SHALL CONSIST OF MATERIAL FROM THE SITE OR

COMPACTOR OR OTHER SUITABLE EQUIPMENT COMPACTING SHALL
CONTINUE UNTIL SLOPES ARE STABLE AND THERE ARE NOT
APPRECIABLE AMOUNTS OF LOOSE SOIL ON THE SLOPES,
16, FILL SLOPES SHALL NOT BE STEEPER THAN 2:1 AND SHALL NOT
HAVE LESS THAN 90% COMPACTION OUT TO THE FINISHED SURFACE.
FILLS SHALL BE COMPACTED THROUGHOUT TO 90% DENSITY AS
DETERMINED BY UBC SID. NO.70-1 AND VERIFIED BY THE SOILS
ENGINEER.

20- THE STOCK PILING OF EXCESS MATERIAL SHALL BE APPROVED BY
THE CITY BUILDING OFFICIAL PRIOR TO THE EXCAVATION. STOCK PILE SITES,
IF REQUIRED, ARE TO BE HYDROSEEDED.
21. ALL TRENCH BACKFILLS SHALL BE TESTED AND VERIFIED BY THE
SOILS ENGINEER PER THE APPLICABLE AGENCY REQUIREMENTS.
TRENCH COMPACTION TEST RESULTS SHALL BE FURNISHED TO THE
DEVELOPER, CONTRACTOR, DESIGN ENGINEER AND THE CITY PRIOR TO
THE PLACEMENT OF ANY BASE MATERIAL OR ASPHALT PAVEMENT.
22, THE FINAL COMPAC77ON REPORT FROM THE SOILS ENGINEER
SHALL CONTAIN THE TYPE OF FIELD TESTING PERFORMED. EACH TEST
SHALL BE IDENTIFIED WITH THE METHOD OF OBTAINING THE IN-
PLACE DENSITY, EITHER SAND CONE OR DRIVE RING AND SHALL BE
SO NOTED FOR EACH TEST. SUFFICIENT MAXIMUM DENSITY
DETERMINATIONS SHALL BE PERFORMED TO VERIFY THE ACCURACY OF
THE MAXIMUM DENSITY CURVES USED BY THE FIELD TECHNICIAN.
EACH TEST SHALL IDENT7FY THE LOCATION AND DATE OF THE
SAMPLING.
21 THE SOILS ENGINEER AND THE ENGINEERING GEOLOGIST SHALL
PERFORM SUFFICIENT INSPECTIONS DURING GRADING AND
CONSTRUC77ON SO THAT THEY MAY RENDER AN OPINION CONCERNING
COMPLIANCE WITH THE PLANS AND CODES WITHIN THEIR PURVIEW
24- THE DESIGN CIVIL ENGINEER SHALL PERFORM SUFFICIENT
OBSERVATIONS AND SURVEYS DURING GRADING AND CONSTRUC77ON SO
THAT HE MAY VERIFY IN WRITING AS TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE
PLANS AND CODES WITHIN HIS PURVIEW
25. SANITARY FACILITIES SHALL BE MAINTAINED ON SITE PER

26, THE LOCATION AND PROTECTION OF ALL UTILITIES IS THE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PERMITTEE.
27 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN ALL OSHA PERMITS.
28. ALL WORK SHALL BE DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH. THE SOIL
ENGINEER'S RECOMMENDATIONS AND CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS, THE
CONTRACTOR IS DIRECTED TO THE SOILS REPORT PREPARED BY
*THE SOILS ENGINEERING RECOMMENDATIONS ARE INCLUDED WHOLLY AS
MOUGH STATED EXPLICITLY HEREON AND CAN BE FOUND WITHIN THE
PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS FOR THIS CONTRACT,
29, ALL SITE CLEAN-UP AND GRADING WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE
APPROVAL OF THE SOILS ENGINEER AND MUST CONFORM TO THE
REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY OF FONTANA AND THE SOILS ENGINEER'S
RECOMMENDATIONS. THESE REQUIREMENTS SHALL BE FURNISHED TO
THE GRADING CONTRACTOR , WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR NOTIFYING
THE GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY, AS REQUIRED, AND FOR NOTIFYING THE
SOILS ENGINEER AT THE START OF THE SITE CLEAN-UP, ME START
