14 FUSION SPLICE SIX (6) STRANDS OF 96 -STRAND SMFO CABLE TO THE
APPROPRIATE STRANDS OF 12 -STRAND SMFO CABLE USING SPLICE ENCLOSURE
PER FIBER ASSIGNMENT SCHEDULE ON SHEET 38. COIL MINIMUM OF 16 -FEET
(4.9 m) OF 12 -STRAND SMFO CABLE FOR SLACK IN SPLICE VAULT.
COORDINATE SPLICING WITH CCTV DETAILS AND AS NOTED IN FIBER

18 FURNISH AND INSTALL FIBER MULTIPLEXER TO SUPPORT VIDEO DETECTION
SYSTEM. COMPLETE CONNECTION TO THE VIDEO DETECTION UNIT AND WIC.
0] NEW FIBER OPTIC TERMINAL CABINET REPLACES EXISTING ENCLOSURE FOR
PHONE SERVICE. CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN PHONE SERVICE DURING
CONSTRUCTION.

K6] REMOVE AND SALVAGE EXISTING CCTV CAMERA AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
EQUIPMENT, AND RETURN HARDWARE TO ENGINEER IN WORKING CONDITION.
GENERAL NOTE (THIS SHEET ONLY):
1. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY PATCH CORDS WITH APPLICABLE
CONNECTORS (ST, FCPC) AT BOTH ENDS.
2. CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD VERIFY ELECTRICAL SERVICE LOCATION AND PROVIDE
ALL NECESSARY ACCESSORIES FOR INSTALLING CCTV SERVICE.
3. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WORK DONE ON CCTV LOCATION SHEETS WITH
WORK DONE ON COMMUNICATION SHEETS.
4. TO ATTACH CAMERA BRACKET TO POLE, CONTRACTOR SHALL UTILIZE STAINLESS
STEEL STRAP; AS DIRECTED BY ENGINEER.
