INSPECTIONS:
1. It is the Landscape Contractor's responsibility to contact the
Engineering Division's Landscape Inspector
48 hours Prior to desired inspection of an item at (909)350-6633
2. Prior to the release of utilities or maintenance period commencement,
the following inspections are required:
— Pre -Construction Inspection
— Inspection of irrigation system in open trench condition (prior to backfill).
— Irrigation coverage tests including initial and final tests.
— Finish grade prior to planting.
— Planting materials prior to planting and soil preparation.
— Planting, including street trees. Contact the Parks Planning and Landscape
Development section Engineering Division, for species and final locations.
— Compliance with approved plans.
— Final Inspection.
3. Notify the landscape architect of pending job completion so she/he may
complete the "Landscape certification of completion". The community
development engineering division landscape inspector will conduct the
final landscape inspection. The owner's representative and landscape
contractor shall be present at the final landscape inspection.
Water Conservation Statement
This irrigation system is designed with the latest tecluiology in layout design and
product specifications. The following items have been implemented to ensure
full coverage and minimal overspray or runoff:
- Irrigation layout per hydrozone
- Match precipitation irrigation heads
- Check valve in irrigation Beads
- Rain shutoff device
- High flow shutoff for any line breaks
NOTE:
At least two working days (Monday through Tursday) prior to starting of
any work in the vicinity of Metropolitan water District facilities and
right-of-way's, contact Mr. Joe Mirone of 's water Systems
Operation Group, telephone (909) 776-2664.
