WORK PERFORMED SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING:

ALL STRUCTURAL NOTES, DRAWINGS, AND SPECIFICATIONS,

ALL APPLICABLE LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL CODES, ORDINANCES,
LAWS, REGULATIONS AND PROTECTIVE COVENANTS GOVERNING THE
SITE OF WORK.

STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS OF ASTM AS NOTED HEREIN AND REQUIRED BY
C.B.C. 2001.

NOTES AND DETAILS ON STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS SHALL TAKE
PRECEDENCE OVER GENERAL NOTES, SPECIFICATIONS, AND TYPICAL
DETAILS PROVIDED ON THIS SHEET AND/OR OR SHEET SDT. WHERE NO
DETAILS ARE SHOWN, CONSTRUCTION SHALL CONFORM TO SIMILAR WORK
ON THE PROJECT, TYPICAL DETAIL AND GENERAL NOTES ARE MINIMUM
REQUIREMENT TO BE USED WHEN CONDITIONS ARE NOT SHOWN OTHERWISE.

IN CASE OF CONFLICT , THE MORE STRINGENT REQUIREMENT SHALL
GOVERN.

ON SITE VERIFICATION OF ALL DIMENSIONS AND COND111ONS SHALL BE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTORS, NOTED DIMENSIONS TAKE
PRECEDENT OVER SCALE OF DRAWINGS. ANY DISCREPANCIES SHALL BE
REPORTED TO THE OWNER IMMEDIATELY,

DRAWINGS AND/OR SPECIFICATIONS.

SHALL BE MADE WITHOUT THE WRITTEN APPROVAL OF WPSE.
APPROVAL BY THE INSPECTOR DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AUTHORITY TO
DEVIATE FROM FLANS OR SPECIFICATIONS.
7.
THE DRAWINGS REPRESENT THE FINISHED STRUCTURE. THEY DO NOT
INDICATE THE METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
PROVIDE ALL MEASURES NECESSARY TO PROTECT THE STRUCTURE
DURING CONSTRUCTION, THE DESIGN, ADEQUACY, AND SAFETY OF
ERECTION BRACING, SHORING, TEMPORARY SUPPORTS, ETC., IS THE SOLE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR, AND HAS NOT BEEN CONSIDERED
BY THE ARCHITECT OR WPSE. OBSERVATION VISITS TO THE SITE BY THE
ARCHITECT OR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER SHALL NOT IMPLY THE
ASSUMPTION OF ANY RESPONSIBILITY IN THIS REGARD.

FINE AND COARSE AGGREGATE SHALL CONFORM TO A.S.T.M. C-33 FOR
STANDARD WEIGHT CONCRETE, WITH THE AVERAGE DRYING SHRINKAGE
AT 26 -DAY'S OF DRYING NOT EXCEEDING 0.047 MAX AGGREGATE SIZE
SHALL BE 3/4. OF MINIMUM CLEAR SPACING BETWEEN BARS.

USE TYPE V CEMENT FOR CONCRETE IN CONTACT WITH SOILS.

CONCRETE SHALL BE PROPORTIONED TO PROVIDE A MINIMUM
COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF .2300 PSI 0 28 DAYS, UNLESS NOTED
OTHERWISE,

ALL REINFORCING, ANCHOR BOLTS, DOWELS, HOLDOWNS, AND OTHER
INSERTS SHALL BE SECURED IN POSITION AND APPROVED BY THE LOCAL
BUILDING OFFICAL PRIOR TO POURING CONCRETE.

CONCRETE SHALL BE CURED BY KEEPING CONTINOUSLY WET FOR
10 -DAYS OR BY AN APPROVED CURING COMPOUND.
