4. DUST SHALL BE CONTROLLED BY WATERING PER 1994 UNIFORM BUILDING
CODE, APPENDIX CHAPTER 33 AND "STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR PUBLIC
WORK CONSTRUCTION 1997 EDITION".
5. ALL FILLS SHALL BE COMPACTED TO 90% OF THE MAXIMUM DRY
DENSITY AS DETERMINED BY A.S.T.M. METHOD D 1557-78 OR
APPROVED EQUIVALENT METHOD. CERTIFICATES FROM AN APPROVED
SOIL TESTING AGENCY SHOWING THE DEGREE OF COMPACTION SHALL
BE PROVIDED TO THE CITY OF FONTANA BUILDING SUPERINTENDENT,
TOGETHER WITH A TABULATION OF THE PERCENT COMPACTION
OBTAINED IN THEIR VARIOUS TESTS AND A PLAN SHOWING THE
LOCATION OF THE TESTS AND A STATEMENT AS TO THE OVERALL
STABILITY OF THE GRADING FOR ITS INTENDED USE.
6. EXISTING UTILITIES ARE SHOWN FROM ALL AVAILABLE
INFORMATION. IT SHALL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY
