PLANTING NOTE _
• Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necesswy to fii nisb and install plant material
as shown on the drawings and as described in the specifications.
• Some trees may have to be planted prior to structural improvement and hardscape installation.
• All work on the irrigation system, including hydrostatic, coverage and operational tests and the backfilling
and compaction of trenches shall be performed prior to planting operations.
• Plant list on the drawings shall be used as a guide only; contractor shall take -off and verify Sias and
quantities by plan check.
• Samples of fertilizers, organic amendment, soil conditioners, and $rases shall be submitted prior to
incorporation. Contractor shall ft rnish to the OWNER'S AuthormedRepresentative a Certificate of
Compliance for such famished materials.
• The OWNER'S Authorized Representative shall review bcations of plant materials on site prior to
installation.
• After completion of finish grading, the OWNER shall obtain an agricultural soil analysis in order to
determine required soil amendments and fertilizers. A temporary specification is included in the
specifications.
• Contractor shall provide a one-year guarantee from time of completion and acceptance of all work and
materials.
• Trees planted within five feet (5') of hardscape, structures or utilities shall be installed with a root barrier
as approved by the OWNER'S Authorized Representative.
• It during planting operations there seems to be minimal or no percolation in planting pits, Contractor shall
cease planting operations and immediately notify the OWNER'S Authorized Representative to discuss
alternatives to maintaining positive rootball drainage measures.
• The Contractor shall provide the OWNER and lacape Architect with complete as -built documents of
planting and irrigation.

as shown on the drawings and as described in the specifications.
• Some trees may have to be planted prior to structural improvement and hardscape installation.
• All work on the irrigation system, including hydrostatic, coverage and operational tests and the backfilling
and compaction of trenches shall be performed prior to planting operations.
• Plant list on the drawings shall be used as a guide only; contractor shall take -off and verify Sias and
quantities by plan check.
• Samples of fertilizers, organic amendment, soil conditioners, and $rases shall be submitted prior to
incorporation. Contractor shall ft rnish to the OWNER'S AuthormedRepresentative a Certificate of
Compliance for such famished materials.
• The OWNER'S Authorized Representative shall review bcations of plant materials on site prior to
installation.
• After completion of finish grading, the OWNER shall obtain an agricultural soil analysis in order to
determine required soil amendments and fertilizers. A temporary specification is included in the
specifications.
• Contractor shall provide a one-year guarantee from time of completion and acceptance of all work and
materials.
• Trees planted within five feet (5') of hardscape, structures or utilities shall be installed with a root barrier
as approved by the OWNER'S Authorized Representative.
• It during planting operations there seems to be minimal or no percolation in planting pits, Contractor shall
cease planting operations and immediately notify the OWNER'S Authorized Representative to discuss
alternatives to maintaining positive rootball drainage measures.
