• Pre -Construction meeting 1
• Construction of irrigation system in open trench condition (prior to backfill), J co

Development Section, Engineering Division, for species and locations. 1
• Finish grading prior to seeding. 1
• Compliance with approved landscape plans. •
• Any special Conditions of Approval attached to project. }
Final Inspection, the Owner's Representptive and the Landscape Contractor `
I shall be present at this inspection.
MAINTENANCE GUIDELINESUJ
1
Landscape shall be maintained in a neat, clean, weed free and health condition. This

shall include, but not limited to:
1. Cultivation of planted beds at Intervals (not to exceed 10 days). �.
2. Regular mowing to maintain a lawn height of. 2" (will vary with species).

r 3. Regular pruning of plants as necessary to control and direct growth.
4. Scheduled maintenance of irrigation controller to assure proper application rate
of water necessary for proper plant growth. Drip irrigation may require
specialized landscape maintenance care,
1 5. Immediate replacement of plant material as needed due to death, disease, or lack of
1 growth. 1
1 6. Fertilization on a regular schedule as recommended by the manufacturer to 1
1 provide proper plant growth, 1
1 T. Immediate repair or replacement of irrigation materials as needed to maintain
good working condition. 1

1 8. Stakes, guys, and ties on trees shall be checked regularly for correct function.
9. Upon completion of the three month or one year maintenance period, an inspection �_ .•■� 1

1 Landscape Inspection Staff. The landscape shall be maintained In accordance with MARLAY AVENUE -� 1
1 these landscape maintenance standards. Maintenance bonding shall be released at1
