On P.V.C. to metal connections, the Contractor shall
work the metal connections first. Teflon tape or
approved equal shall be used on all threaded P.V.C. to
P.V.C., and on all threaded P.V.C. to metal joints.
Light wrench pressure is all that is required. Where
threaded P.V.C. connections are required, use the
threaded P.V.C. adapters into which the pipe may be
welded.

Quick coupling valves: Unless otherwise indicated,

Install backflow assemblies in shrub areas at minimum
height permitted by local codes, unless otherwise
