OF THE EXISTING WATERMAIN. SUCH REPORTS SHALL BE REVIEWED AND
APPROVED BY THE OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER AND FONTANA WATER COMPANY.

THE CONTRACTOR AGREES THAT HE SHALL ASSUME SOLE AND
COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY FOR JOB SITE CONDITIONS DURING THE

ALL PERSONS AND PROPERTY; THAT THIS REQUIREMENT SHALL APPLY
CONTINUOUSLY AND NOT BE LIMITED TO NORMAL WORKING HOURS; AND
THAT THE CONTRACTOR SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD THE
OWNER AND THE ENGINEER HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY,
REAL OR ALLEGED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF WORK
ON THIS PROJECT, EXCEPTING FOR LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SOLE
NEGLIGENCE OF THE OWNER OR THE ENGINEER.

2. CONSTRUCTION PERMITS SHALL TO OBTAINED FROM FONTANA ENGINEERING
DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO START OF ANY WORK WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS.
3 STATIONING REFERS TO THE LEFT EDGE OF PAVEMENT.
4. CURVE DATA REFERS TO THE EDGE OF PAVEMENT.
5. ALL EXPOSED CONCRETE SHALL CONFORM /N GRADE, COLOR AND FINISH TO ALL
ADJOINING CURBS AND SIDEWALKS,
6. PAVEMENT SECTIONS SHOWN ARE MINIMUM AND SUBJECT TO REVISION AND
APPROVAL OF THE CITY AS REQUIRED BY SOILS TEST TAKEN AFTER COMPLETION
OF ROUGH GRADING, SHOULD THE STREET CONSTRUCTION START MORE THAN 3
MONTHS AFTER THE PLANS ARE APPROVED, AND IF THE FIELD PAVEMENT
COND/T/ONS CHANGE,• THEN THE DEVELOPER fYOULD BE REQU/RED TO UPDATE

INVERT THICKENING WILL BE OBTAINED BY OVEREXCAVAING THE
TRENCH AND SHIMMING -UP THE PIPE MACHINE MANf3RE4 BY THE EXTRA
REQUIRED THICKNESS.•
