INTERCONNECT GENERAL NOTES:
i. TRAFFIC SIGNAL INTERCONNECT SHALL CONFORM TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS SECTION 86 AND STANDARD PLANS (DATED JULY 1992)
2. LOCATION OF ALL UNDERGROUND FACILITIES ARE APPROXIMATE. THE CONTRACTOR
SHALL POTHOLE TO DETERMINE THE EXACT LOCATIONS AND VERIFY ALL CONDITIONS
ON THE JOB SITE. HAND DIG UNTIL CLEAR OF OBSTRUCTIONS.
PHONE UNDERGROUND SERVICE ALERT AT (800)433133, TWO (2) WORKING DAYS
BEFORE DIGGING.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN APPROVAL FROM THE ENGINEER FOR EXACT EQUIPMENT
LOCATIONS PRIOR TO FINAL PLACEMENT.
5. ALL REQUIRED CONSTRUCTION PERMITS SHALL BE OBTAINED FROM THE CIN Of
FONTANH ENGINEERING DIVISION PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF WORK.
6. ALL TRAFFIC CONTROL, WORK ZONES AND LANE CLOSURES SHALL BE COMPLETELY
DELINEATED BY CHANNELIZATION DEVICES AND SHIELDED BY BARRIERS TO EXCLUDE
VEHICLE AND/OR PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC. CONTRACTOR SHALL FOLLOW THE MANUAL
OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES FOR CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE WORK ZONES,
CALTRANS STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARD PLANS, LATEST EDITION. EXACT
LOCATION OF ALL TRAFFIC CONTROL TO BE DETERMINED BY THE ENGINEER AND ^ '
ADDITIONAL WARNING AND/OR CONSTRUCTION SIGNING MAY BE REQUIRED.
7. ALL INTERCONNECT CONDUIT SHALL BE INSTALLED AT A DEPTH OF 30' MINIMUM
MEASURED FROM THE FINISHED SURFACE OF THE EDGE OF PAVEMENT. ALL
PULLBOXES IN UNIMPROVED AREAS SHALL BE TRAFFIC BEARING. PULLBOXES SHALL
BE AT 200 IAAXIIAUAI BRACING.
INTERCONNECT CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
1�- INSTALL 1.5" CONDUIT, # 3 PULLBOXES, AND INTERCONNECT CABLE AS SHOWN ON THE PLAN.
INTERCEPT EXISTING PULLBOX AT SIERRA AVENUE AND BASELINE AS SHOWN.
PULL CABLE INTO CABINET.
