OBSERVATION VISITS TO THE SITE BY THE ENGINEER'S FIELD REPRESENTATIVE SHALL NEITHER BE CONSTRUED AS INSPECTION
NOR APPROVAL OF CONSTRUCTION.
DURING AND AFTER CONSTRUCTION, BUILDER AND/OR OWNER SHALL KEEP LOADS ON STRUCTURE WITHIN THE LIMITS OF
DESIGN LOADS.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRACING AND SHORING ALL EXCAV4114N. TEMPORARY AND EXISTING
STRUCTURES, AND PARTIALLY COMPLETED PORTION OF THE WORK TO ASSURE THE SAFETY OF ANY PERSON COMING IN
CONTACT WITH THE WORK.
ALL ASTM SPECIFICATIONS NOTED ON THE DRAWINGS SHALL BE AMENDED TO DATE.
VEHICHLES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON ANY SPAN UNTIL AFTER THE CONCRETE HAS ATTAINED THE DESIGN COMPRESSIVE
STRENGTH OF 3500 P.S.I. OR THE SLAB HAS ATTAINED THE AGE OF 28 DAYS, WHICH EVER IS FIRST.

PORTLAND CEMENT SHALL CONFORM TO ASTM C-150 TYPE 1 — 11.
HARDROCK AGGREGATE SHALL CONFORM TO ASTM C-33 WITH PROVEN SHRINKAGE CHARACTERISTIC OF LESS THAN 0.041x.
MIXING OF CONCRETE SHALL CONFORM TO ASTM C-94.
CONCRETE TYPE AND STRENGTHS SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:

SPECIAL INSPECTION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CONCRETE WITH A COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH EXCEEDING 2000 PSI.
ALL REINFORCING STEEL, ANCHOR BOLTS AND SLEEVES SHALL BE PLACED AND SECURED IN POSITION PRIOR TO POURING
