AND APPROVED BY AUTHORITIES HAVING JURSIDICTION.
6. CONTRACTOR SHALL ARRANGE AND PAY COST FOR METER INSTALLATION,
SEWER CONNECTIONS, PERMITS, ETC.
7. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY SIZE, DEPTH, LOCATION, AND ADEQUACY OF
ALL UTILITIES, INCLUDING METER LOCATIONS AND SEWER INVERTS
PRIOR TO START OF WORK.
8. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL CLEANOUTS WHERE LOCATED AND AS
REQUIRED BY CODE, ALL CLEANOUTS MUST BE ACCESSIBLE.
9. ALL WORK SHALL CONFORM WITH LOCALS CODES AND OTHER AUTHORITIES
HAVING JURISDICTION.
10. COORDINATE ALL WORK WITH OTHER TRADES TO AVOID INTERFERENCES.
11. FOR ROUGH -IN ELEVATIONS OF FIXTURES, REFER TO ARCHITECTURAL
DRAWINGS.
12. ALL LINES UNDERGROUND SHALL BE LOCATED AWAY FROM BEARING
FOOTINGS OR AS INSTRUCTED UNDER STRUCTURAL ENGINEERED
DRAWINGS.
13. INSTALL BACKFLOW PREVENTER DEVICES AS REQUIRED BY LOCAL CODE.
14. ALL PENETRATION OF FIRE -RATED SURFACES SHALL BE MADE WITH A
NON-COMBUSTIBLE MATERIAL OF A FIRE RATING EQUAL TO THE
MATERIAL PENETRATED AND SHALL BE COMPLETELY FIRESTOPPED.
REFER TO ARCHITECTURAL PLANS TO DETERMINE FIRE -RATED SURFACES
AND INCLUDE ALL COSTS IN BASE BID.

ANY VERTICAL SURFACE.
20. ALL VALVES, UNIONS, ETC. SHALL BE SAME SIZE AS LINE SIZE
UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED ON DRAWINGS.
21. UNIONS SHALL BE PROVIDED AND INSTALLED AFTER EACH SCREW-TYPE
VALVE AND PRIOR TO EQUIPMENT CONNECTIONS. PROVIDE AND INSTALL
ISOLATION UNIONS ON ALL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN DISSIMILAR METALS.
22. SEE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS FOR HANDICAP FIXTURE LOCATIONS AND
MOUNTING HEIGHTS. (INSULATE ALL EXPOSED HOT WATER AND DRAIN
PIPING BELOW HANDICAP LAVATORIES AND SINKS WITH ARMSTRONG
"ARMOFLEX" OR EQUAL.)
23. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE LOCATION OF ALL CEILING
ACCESS PANELS WITH ARCHITECTURAL REFLECTED CEILING PLAN AND
THE ELECTRICAL LIGHTING LAYOUT.
