GENERAL NOTES
1. ALL WMORK, MATERIALS AND LOU13MENT FOR TRAFFIC SIGNING AND
STRIPING SHALL CONFORM TO THESE PLANS AND THE STANDARDS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CITY OF FONTANA AND THE STANDARDS AND
SPECIFICATIONS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
2. PAVEMENT MARKERS AND TRAFFIC STRIPING DIMENSIONS SHALL CONFORM
TO CALTRANS STANDARD PLANS JULY 1"2.
3. PAVEMENT MARKINGS SHALL CONFORM TO CITY STANDARD STENCILS,
4. TRAFFIC STRIPING AND PAVEMENT MARKINGS ON NEW SURFACES SHALL
BE IN TWO (2) SEPARATE COATS. A FINAL COAT IS TO BE APPLIED
BETWEEN FOURTEEN (14) AND THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER THE FIRST
COAT. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DEVELOPER TO MAINTAIN
THE STRIPING AND PAVEMENT MARKINGS, SHOULD ANY ADDITIONAL
COSTS BE NECESSARY.

ONE PIECE ANCHOR, 2 1/20 X 3W X 6 GAUGE (NON—PERFORATED), TO
FIT A 2' SQUARE STEEL POST, PREPUNCHED AT MID—POINT OF ANCHOR
WITH ONE 7/16" HOLE ON EACH SIDS. AND AT TOP.
7. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO MAINTAIN
BARRICADES. DELINEATORS OR OTHER TRAFFIC CONTROL AT ALL TIMES

REMOVED FROM THE PAVEMENT BY SANDBLASTING BY THE CONTRACTQR

WILL BE REMOVED ONLY BY CITY FORCES FIVE (5) DAYS ADVANCE
WRITTEN NOTICE TO THE CITY TRAFFIC SECITON IS REQUIRED TO
