1. All workmanship and materials shall conform to -local building• and plumbing codes having jurisdiction.
2. Itis 'the intent of these drawings 'and -specifications to indicate a complete sprinkler system installed and ready for
use.
3.. An -as -built plan shall be accurately prepared on one set of reproducible prints of the drawings, kept up to date as
the project is under construction. In addition, dimension from two permanent points of reference the location of the
pressure supply line routing, all valves' plug tees, and control wires.
4,41 All sprinkler heads shall be installed as indicated in their details.
5. Install alllinesin their respective lot-ations,according to their details.
6. Trenches shall be excavated to sufficient depth to provide -coverage of 24" over all pressure supply lines 3" or larger
and 18" over lines 2-1/2 inches and smaller, and 12-" over all non -pressure: lines.
7. Backfill for trenching shall be compacted to dry density equal to the adjacent undisturbed soil, and shall conform to
adjacent grades without dips, sunken areas, humps, or other irregularities.
8. Control wires shall be AWG U.F. #14 and shall have minimum cover of 18".
9. All irrigation pressure supply lines shall'be class 315 polyvinyl chloride plastic pipe with color coated fittings,
unless otherwise noted.
10'. All irrigation non -pressure lines shall be Schedule 40 polyvinyl chloride plastic pipe.
11, All domestic supply lines shall be Schedule 40 -polyvinyl chloride plastic pipe, blue in color.
-12. Plastic fittings shall be of a schedule rigid polyvinyl chloride identical to the schedule of pipe upon which -the
fittings are affixed, but in no event shall the fittings be less than Schedule 40 P.V.C. plastic pipe.

13. Initial backfill on plastic lines shall be of a fine granular material with no . f Qreign matter larger than 1/2" in size.
14. All material required for the project shall be as indicated in the legend and installed according to same.
15. Furnish the following tools: (a) One wrench for disassembling each type of sprinkler head supplied. (b) Six
quick couplers and matching hose swivels for :operation of quick coupling valves. (c) Two keys for each controller.
