PRIOR TO ANY MODIFICATIONS OR IMPLEMENTING OF NEW WORK, TEST THE EXISTING ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TO DEMONSTRATE THE SYSTEM OPERATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE EXISTING CONTROL SCHEMATICS. REPORT THE RESULTS TO OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE. 3. AFTER THE INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE, TEST ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TO DEMONSTRATE THE SYSTEM OPERATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH DRAWINGS. TEST SHALL INCLUDE: A. INSULATION RESISTANCE TEST (INSULATION BETWEEN CONDUCTORS AND BETWEEN EACH CONDUCTOR AND GROUND NOT TO BE LESS THAN 25 MEGOHMS). B. RUN EACH MOTOR WITH ITS CONTROL AS NEARLY AS POSSIBLE UNDER OPERATING CONDITIONS TO DEMONSTRATE CORRECT ROTATION DIRECTION, ALIGNMENT, WIRING CAPACITY, SPEED, AND SATISFACTORY OPERATION. TEST CONTROL TO VERIFY CORRECT WIRING AND OPERATION. C. RECORD CURRENT IN EACH PHASE OF MOTOR AND SUBMIT TO OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE. REPAIR OR REPLACE MOTOR OR DRIVEN EQUIPMENT IF CURRENT EXCEEDS MOTOR NAMEPLATE CURRENT. 4. ABBREVIATIONS: UON = UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. GND = GROUND. C = CONDUIT.
