PAINT FOR TRAFFIC STRIPING, CROSSWALKS, LIMIT LINES, ARROWS, PAVEMENT LEGENDS, AND CURB MARKINGS SHALL BE RAPID DRY TYPE PER SECTION 84-3 OF THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS. REFLECTIVE MATERIAL SHALL BE APPLIED TO ALL TRAFFIC STRIPES (EXCEPT BLACK PAINT) ON THE FINAL FINISH COAT PER SECTION 84-3 OF THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS OF THE STATE OFF' CALIFORNIA AND CITY OF FONTANA. 7. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH THE NECESSARY CONTROL POINTS FOR ALL STRIPING AND MARKING AND SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COMPLETENESS AND ACCURACY THEREOF TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE CITY ENGINEER. 8. TRAFFIC SIGN DIMENSIONS, COLOR, AND LETTERING SHALL CONFORM TO CALTRANS APPROVED SIGN SPECIFICATION SHEETS. SIGN CODES SHOWN HEREON CORRESPOND TO THE CALTRANS SPECIFICATION SHEET CODES. SIGNS SHALL BE THE STANDARD SIZE UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED. 9. MATERIALS FOR SIGNS, POSTS AND MOUNTING HARDWARE, SIGN CONSTRUCTION AND SIGN PANEL INSTALLATION SHALL CONFORM TO SECTION 56-2 OF THE CALTRANS STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS. 10. SIGNS SHALL BE MOUNTED ON METAL BOX SECTION POSTS UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED. POSTS AND INSTALLATION SHALL MEET CITY REQUIREMENTS. 11. THE QUANTITY OF TRAFFIC SIGNING AND STRIPING SHALL BE CONSIDERED ONE LUMP SUM ITEM COMPLETE IN PLACE. THE LUMP SUM PRICE IN THE BID SHALL INCLUDE FULL COMPENSATION FOR FURNISHING ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT FOR DOING ALL WORK INVOLVED IN, OR APPURTENANT TO , THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC LINES AND/OR MARKINGS AND/OR MARKERS AND TRAFFIC SIGNS AS REQUIRED BY THESE PLANS. ALL COSTS FOR TEMPORARY PAVEMENT PAINTING, INCLUDING COSTS FOR SANDBLASTING OF EXISTING LINES AND MARKINGS, AND THE REMOVAL OF PAVEMENT MARKERS, SHALL BE AT THE CONTRACTORS EXPENSE.
