representative.

E. When required by the Department's representative, the +
permittee shall -at his expense, pressure grout the area
between the pavement and the casing from within the casing
and/or from the top.of pavement in order to fill any voids '
caused by the work covered under this permit. The increments
for grout holes shall be eight -feet (8' staggered and
located 22 -1/2 -degrees from the vertical axis of the casing.
Pressure shall not exceed five (5) PSiG for a duration
2 sufficient to fill all voids.
O F. The installation of multiple casing shall be installed with a
-minimum of 1-1/2 diameter clearance between casings, but not; X
less than 18 inches (18"). The clearance -between casings

crossing freeways shall be two (2) diameters minimum, but not

G. The casings placed within freeway right-of-way shall extend,
to the access control lines.
H. Wing cutters, if used, shall be a maximum of one inch (1.-)
larger than the casing. Voids caused by the use of wing
'ZI\\ cutters shall be grouted in accordance with "E." above.

installed around the entire perimeter of the pits during

i G. All pits should have crushed rock and sump areas to clear -
ground water -and water used to clean the casing. Where
ground.Nt�r is found and pumping is required, the pits `shall i
be lined with filter fabric.
