When required by the Department's representative, the + permittee shall -at his expense, pressure grout the area between the pavement and the casing from within the casing and/or from the top.of pavement in order to fill any voids ' caused by the work covered under this permit. The increments for grout holes shall be eight -feet (8' staggered and located 22 -1/2 -degrees from the vertical axis of the casing. Pressure shall not exceed five (5) PSiG for a duration 2 sufficient to fill all voids. O F. The installation of multiple casing shall be installed with a -minimum of 1-1/2 diameter clearance between casings, but not; X less than 18 inches (18"). The clearance -between casings L- O s crossing freeways shall be two (2) diameters minimum, but not j, h n. 24 inches (240). G. The casings placed within freeway right-of-way shall extend, to the access control lines. H. Wing cutters, if used, shall be a maximum of one inch (1.-) larger than the casing. Voids caused by the use of wing 'ZI\\ cutters shall be grouted in accordance with "E." above. I. A band welded to the leading edge of the casing should be i = placed square to the alignment. The band should not be on the bottom ed laced e.P Flaring the lead section on bores over 100 feet (lOQ') shall not be permitted. 0 J. All casing lengths shall be equal to the auger length. K. The casings placed within conventional highways shall extend five feet (51) from back of curb or pavement to five feet (5') bagk of curb or pavement, or to right-of-way line,if less.
