GENERAL NOTES
1. TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND HIGHWAY LIGHTING CONSTRUCTION SHALL CONFORM TO STATE OF CALIFORNIA
STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARD PLANS (JAN. 1988) AND SPECIAL PROVISIONS.
2. CONDUCTOR SCHEDULE IS FURNISHED AS AN INSTALLATION GUIDELINE ONLY. IT SHALL BE THE
CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO SUPPLY CORRECT CONDUCTORS REQUIRED FOR THE INTENDED
OPERATION.
3. UTILITIES SHOWN ON THIS PLAN IS CORRECT AND ACCURATE TO THE EXTENT OF AVAILABLE
RECORDS AND KNOWLEDGE. THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO TAKE STEPS TO ASCERTAIN THE
EXACT LOCATION OF UNDERGROUND FACILITIES PRIOR TO DOING WORK THAT MAY DAMAGE SUCH
FACILITIES OR INTERFERE WITH THEIR SERVICE.
4. UNDERGROUND SIGNAL AND LIGHT CONDUCTORS SHALL NOT BE SPLICED.
5. UNLESS SHOWN OTHERWISE, INDUCTIVE LOOPS SHALL BE 61X61, TYPE 'A'.
6. ALL PULLBOXES SHALL BE #5 UNLESS SHOWN OTHERWISE.
7. ALL VEHICLE INDICATIONS SHALL BE 12" AND SHALL HAVE GLASS LENS ONLY.
8. ALL CONDUIT SHALL BE 2" UNLESS SHOWN OTHLRWISE. ALL CONDUIT TO BE RIGID METALIC.
9. INDUCTIVE LOOPS CENTERED IN LANE WITH 10" SPACING IN DI RECTION OF TRAVEL; LEAD LOOP
SHELL ENCROACH 2' INTO CROSSWALK.
