THE CONSTRUCTION OF ALL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS SHALL CONF=ORM TO THESE PIANS AND TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS, PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, CITY OF FONTANA. REFER TO DEFINITIONS AND TERMS IN CITY STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS. 2. CONSTRUCTION PERMITS SHALL BE OBTAINED FROM FONTANA PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO START OF ANY WORK WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS 3. STATIONING REFERS TO THE CENTERLINES OFF STREET EXCEPT WHERE OTHERWISE NOTED. 4. CURET DATA REFERS 1'0 THE FACE OF THE CURB. 5. ALL EXPOSED CONCRETE SHALL CONFORM IN GRADE, COLOR AND FINISH TO ALL ADJOINING CURBS AND SIDEWALKS. 6. PAVEMENT SECTIONS SHOWN ARE MINIMUM AND SUBJECT TO REVISION AND APPROVAL OF THE CITY AS REQUIRED BY SOILS TEST TAKEN AFTER COMPLETION OF ROUGH GRADING. 7. ALL UNDERGROUND WORK SHALL BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO PAVING OF STREETS. 3. EXISTING UNDERGROUND UTILITIES ARE AS PER AVAILABLE RECORDS. REFER TO CITY OF FONTANA, UND_-I_. RGROUND UTILITY LOCATION STANDARD DETAIL 129. 12. THE CONTRACTOR(S) SHALL COORDINATE CONSTRUCTION WITH ALL UTI41TIES AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, GAS, TELEPHONE, ELECTRICAL, LIGHTING,. TELEVISION CABLE, LANDSCAPING, LANDSCAPING IRRIGATION,. DOMEST 1, WATER, RECLAIMED WATER, SEWF#R, STORM DRAINAGE, FLOOD CONTROL SYSTEMS, ETC. 13. AS ESUILT DRAWINGS SHALL BE PROVIDED BY THE CONTRACTOR TO THE CITY OF FONTANA. 14. TYPE, LOCATION AND WIDTH OF DRIVEWAY APPROACH APRONS WILL BE DETERMINED AT THE TIME OF CONSTRUCTION AND SHALL CONFORM WITH THE CITY OF FONTANA STANDARD DETAILS. 15., CONTRACTOR IS INSTRUCTED TO REFER TO THESE PLANS AND THE, SPECIFICATIONS, AND WHERE THERE IS OR MAY BE A CONFLICT SHALL, IMMEDIATELY REPORT SAID CONFLICT OR POSSIBLE CONFLICT TO THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE. 16. STERILANT REQUIRED UNDER ALL A.C. PAVEMENT 17. ALL EXPOSED CONCRETE SURFACES SHALL CONFORM IN GRADE, COLOR AND FINISH TO ALL ADJOINING CURBS AND SIDEWALKS. 18. NO CONCRETE SHALL BE PLACED UNTIL THE FORMS AND REINFORCING STEEL HAS BEEN PLACED, INSPECTED AND APPROVED. 19. THE WALLS AND FACES OF ALL EXCAVATIONS GREATER THAN FIVE (5) FEET IN DEPTH SHALL BE EFFECTIVELY GUARDED BY A SHORING SYSTEM, SLOPING OF THE GROUND OR OTHER EQUIVALENT MEANS. TRENCHES LESS THAN FIVE (5) FEET IN DEPTH SHALL ALSO BE GUARDED WHEN EXAMINATION INDICATES HAZARDOUS GROUND'MOVEMENT MAY BE EXPECTED. 20. THE CONTRACTOR(S) SHALL OBTAIN A PERMIT TO PERFORM EXCAVATIONOR TRENCH WORK AS DESCRIBED IN NOTE 6 ABOVE FROM CALIFORNIA STATE DIVISION OF INDUSTRIAL. SAFETY.
