Mitigated Negative Declaration
Endings
1. All primary and secondary impacts of the project were evaluated and it was determined
by staff that the project will not negatively impact the environment. The project will
instead protect the environment and surrounding areas, due to more sewer facilities to
serve approximately 507 acres within the Southeast Fontana Sewer Drainage Basin area
south of Santa Ana Avenue, which is contributory to the pump station.
2. The physical changes resulting from the project will protect the social and economic
structure of the City.
3. The project shall be designed, constructed and inspected to meet City and County
standards. The Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, also known as
the "Green Book" will control the general provisions, construction materials and
construction methods for this project. See Environmental Checklist for a description of
mitigation measures (attached).
