RIALTO PIPELINES
THE VIBRATORY ROLLER AND COMPACTOR MUST NOT BE OPERATED IN VIBRATORY
MODE WITHIN 30 FEET OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE PIPELINE. WHEN THE COVER IS A
MINIMUM OF 4 FEET AND NO GREATER THAN 10 FEET, ALL OF THE EQUIPMENT EXCEPT
THE CAT SCRAPER MAY OPERATE OVER THE RIALTO PIPELINE.
WHEN THE COVER IS A MINIMUM OF 5 FEET AND NO GREATER THAN 10 FEET, AND
WHEN THE GROUND IS MAINTAINED IN A SMOOTH CONDITION WITH A UNIFORM SLOPE
FOR THREE VEHICLE LENGTHS ON EACH SIDE OF THE PIPELINE, LOADED CAT
SCRAPERS MAY OPERATE OVER THE RIALTO PIPELINE.
EQUIPMENT THAT IMPOSE LOADS GREATER THAN THOSE OF AN AASHTO H-20 VEHICLE
MUST NOT BE OPERATED WITHING 20 FEET OF THE EXISTING MANHOLES STRUCTURES.
