It is being subdivided into 17 lots with an area of 4.1 acres. Pre Developed and Post Developed hydrology calculations are provided in this report. If you had any questions don't hesitate to call Loren Phillips office at 909-396-9636. PURPOSE. The purpose of this report is to calculate the runoff at the pre developed condition and post developed condition and verify the existing improvement and street (Harvey Drive) has adequate capacity to carry the run off for 25 year and 100 year storm after development of the subjected property. In this report results of previously approved hydrology report for tract no. 17513 have been used. This report was done by Loren Phillips and Associates and is attached as the reference to this report. *0 DESCRIPTION OF WATERSHED 9W All tributary areas are shown on the hydrology map. As shown on the hydrology map sub area's A,D and E are the offsite area. Sub area B shows the onsite pre developed area. 25 year storm runoff is 5.4 CFS and 100 year storm runoff is 7.5 CFS for sub area B. Sun area C shows the onsite post developed area. 25 year storm runoff is 10.4 and the 100 year storm runoff is 13.5 for this sub area. See the hydrology map for more detail. r-1 METHODOLOGY This report is based on San Bernardino County Hydrology Manual. Rational method was used to do the hydrology calculation for 25 and 100 year storm. Rational method relates rainfall intensity, runoff coefficient, and drainage area size to the peak runoff from the drainage area. By using isohyetal maps in section B of the manual and using hydrologic soils group map in section C and the rational method discussed on section D runoffs were calculated. "a AW 0 10 40 DISCUSSION AND SUMMARY Based on the Flood Insurance Rate Map # 06071C8652 F downloaded from aw FEMA website this property is located in zone X and therefore it is protected from the flood. The flood map is attached to this report for city review. aw Based on the hydrology calculation in this report development of this tract will increase the runoff 5.0 CFS for the 25 year storm and 6.0 CFS for the 100 year storm and per the hydraulic calculation from the reference hydrology report (Tract No. 17513) there is adequate capacity in the receiving street down stream to carry both the existing runoff and the aw increased runoff after development of the subjected property.
